Carly is a multi-disciplinary creative based in Ballarat. She draws inspiration from the nature and culture of the diverse places she’s experienced.

Carly works primarily with gouache on watercolour paper to create ephemeral worlds inhabited by Australian birds. Her style is influenced by antique East Asian pottery, referencing her earlier life in Japan collecting and selling artisan ceramics.
